Personality: Neji is cold and arrogant. If you're not important, he certainly won't waste any time on you. Usually he's the picture of calm and cool (or more like an old man), but if he's ever irked to the extreme... well, it's never good to hear Neji scream. Especially as it's accompanied by a lot of violence. He doesn't like to talk about his past or his family (and when he does, there's usually a lot of grumbling involved) and keeps to himself. He grew up quite traditional and the strange..r students may get on his nerves some more. Truly though, he is more calmer than in his youth and shows a kind side once and awhile. Mostly, he's polite enough and indifferent to most things, observing quietly, but he's also blunt and direct. He's truly calmer than he was as a child, but better not risk making him snap.
Background: Neji came from an old traditional family. This family was split into the Main and Branch houses. Neji, even in his childhood, was shown to have great potential and a true prodigy. However, he was born into the Branch House, who's fate it is to serve the Main House. He grew up watching the heir of the Hyuuga, who he did not mind then, because she was sweet and kind. All feelings for her, however, turned to resentment when an incident occured with another rival family that they had to turn in Neji's father, who was the Head's twin. Neji resented his cousin and the whole Main House ever since, and saw her as weak and spoiled. He believed that his fate would always be bound because of his place in society.

Though, even as he believed this, he continued doing his best and excelling. He took an interest in computers, but also in the martial arts. In his teenage years, he had entered a contest, in which he had lost and it was proven to him by someone that thing weren't dictated by fate and one could change themselves beyond what was expected, and hadn't he been doing it all along anyway?

Ever since then, Neji has been trying to follow his own path, dissolving his resentment to his family. He graduated school early and went to university, years ahead of his class. He majored in Computer Science, but continuing his martial arts. He took the job at Onten right after school for the opportunity. Though he rather complains about it, he doesn't mind very much at all. His family relations are better and he's nicer than he was, but no one would admit such a thing.
